My solo show for 2018-2019 is all about swimming the English Channel, how to train for it, and the science behind it. The show is debuting in London on 14th November and you can get tickets here!
My solo show for 2017-2018 was called Smart Materials. Inspired by my new post-PhD research direction, Smart Materials was an exploration of materials which move, sense, morph and adapt to changes in their environment. I took it to schools and festivals across the country and internationally. It was filmed in full at the Royal Institution, and a shorter version at TEDxYouthManchester:
Smart Materials of the Future at The Royal Institution, March 2018
Smart Materials at TEDxYouthManchester, November 2017
Here are some other bits and bobs:
Landspeed Racing and the Mystery of The Brittle Snickers: FameLab UK Final, April 2017
Demonstrating the Physics of Sound with a trumpet and a hand-made Rubens’ Tube
